About It’s Time
It’s Time is a charity created by and for young adults who have experienced the death of a parent. Founded by people who know this grief first-hand, the charity ensures no young adult under 30 has to navigate such loss alone. Through peer-led support, events, free group therapy, and tailored resources, It’s Time offers connection and understanding during an often isolating time. The charity also partners with universities, workplaces, and families to promote better bereavement support - recognising that grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and the help offered to young adults shouldn’t either.
We launched group therapy in January 2024 and have been running a waiting list from day one. Our Clinical Lead, who also runs the sessions, is UKCP accredited and a leading voice in field of bereavement, specialising in adults bereaved as children. We are looking for additional therapists to work alongside her and the staff team in order provide quality support to more young adults.
