It’s Time Ambassadors
We’re lucky to be supported by passionate ambassadors who helps share the values and voice of It’s Time.
Shane Wheeler-Osman, Bucket List Boy
Shane lost his mum to Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer in October 2024. Shane is known online as the Bucket List Boy, Shane explores grief through childlike activities that help him reconnect, reflect, and heal — part therapy, part playground.
Through open conversations with others, he shows that grief has no rules and no single path, only the hope that comes from sharing our stories.
Shane is honoured to be an ambassador for Its Time.
Luke Alfano, Too Young To Grieve
Luke lost his dad in 2021 to a very short battle with cancer. Since then, he’s been on a mission to make grief feel less lonely for young people navigating life after loss.
As the founder of Too Young To Grieve, Luke shares honest conversations, real stories, and practical reflections to help others rebuild physically, mentally, and emotionally. His work blends lived experience with a sensitive approach to healing — creating space for people who often feel misunderstood in their grief.
Through community, content, and open dialogue, Luke hopes to remind people that while grief changes us, we don’t have to face it alone.
Luke is proud to be an ambassador for It’s Time.
Ria Kalsi, Founder and CEO of Matriarch
Ria Kalsi is the Founder & CEO of Matriarch - the business teaching you what you didn’t learn at school. From grief to race to mental health, Matriarch equips people with the tools to navigate life’s toughest moments with confidence, knowledge, and empathy, helping them face life with less fear.
Ria lost her Dad when she was 19 and turned to Matriarch as a vessel to process it. Since then, she's been driven to support others experiencing it and those around them through sharing her story and Matriarch's workshops.
Having experienced grief and discrimination before the age of 20, her mission has always been simple: to be who she needed when she was younger.
Freddie Rand
Freddie lost his Dad when he was 12 (in 2006) and his Mum when he was 23 (in 2017) both to cancer.
For years he never talked about how losing both his parents so young affected him and would suppress his feelings of grief.
However, in 2025 he decided to start an Instagram page where he talks openly about his grief, about losing his parents and to show people they are not alone when it comes to losing parents young.
Freddie has become an ambassador for It’s Time because when he lost his Mum he struggled to find resources to support him, which It’s Time would have offered, and would like to promote the support the charity offers to people who need it.
