Isabelle’s story

I was 5 when I lost my mum, she was abit taller than I am now, she was 40 years old and I was just a kid.

She liked painting with a glass of wine, cooking for the family and she was my inspiration to dive into art and drawing. She taught me how to walk and talk and people say I’m her double.

She was Incredibly talented and a beautiful person.

Some people think being young when these things happen is ‘easier’ because you don’t understand it at the time but the truth is, is that it’s really hard growing up feeling different and that’s what it felt like for me.

grieving a loss that happened when you were a child is a weird feeling at 21 but it’s the thing that keeps me going when things get difficult “do it for mum” she would be proud.
